David graduated in medicine from the University of Edinburgh in 1984 and obtained a Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine in 1988 before migrating to Australia in 1991. He has worked at Gold Coast Sexual Health Clinic, Brisbane Sexual Health Clinic and since 1994 has been senior medical officer in sexual health at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
He is President of the Sexual Health Society of Queensland, a member of the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine and a professional affiliate of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine.
David is interested in sexually transmissible infections (including genital warts and genital herpes), erectile dysfunction and sexual health counselling.
